Biography & Engineering Focus

Jerry Chukwuma Aneke

Software engineer focused on scalable backend architectures, resilient distributed systems, and dependable APIs. Open to software engineering roles across diverse domains.

I am a software engineer focused on building reliable backend architectures, resilient APIs, and scalable distributed systems. While I bring deep technical experience in transaction systems—such as atomic inventory engines and sub-5ms evaluation pipelines—my engineering foundation is domain-agnostic. I am actively open to software engineering and backend engineering roles across diverse industries and problem spaces.

My engineering track record spans enterprise production systems, startup infrastructure, and open platforms. At SQUAD by GTCO, I worked as the backend engineer on an allocated project team dedicated specifically to building and deploying a real-time fraud prevention microservice. Beyond SQUAD, I architected Ductape (an agent-operable multi-provider commerce engine with atomic SQL inventory reservation), engineered the distributed data ingestion platform for Voicer across 10 modular domains, and prototyped an asynchronous telemetry relay for BMONI.

Across all my work, I prioritize core computer science fundamentals: explicit system contracts over implicit assumptions, storage-engine atomicity over fragile application mutexes, and proactive failure recovery over optimistic happy-path assumptions. Whether working on high-throughput streaming, developer platforms, or cloud services, I focus on software that remains predictable under load and dependable in production.
